The Fence is the feature debut from writer director William Stone. A feature adaptation of his hugely popular short film of the same name released on Youtube in 2018. Set and made in his home city of Bristol, the film is based on real life accounts from people who grew up on south Bristol council estates in the 1970’s and 80’s.

Following a popular theatrical release with Showcase Cinemas in the UK The Fence was picked up by Vertigo Releasing for UK and Wide Management for International Sales.

After successful sales to FILM 4 and HBO The Fence is now available to stream, rent or buy in over 10 countries worldwide.
